About GivaSpark

A Spark is a small unit of joy, hope, surprise or goodness put into the world.

It can be something funny. Something beautiful. Something deeply felt. A prayer sent across the world. A message for someone you love. A strange idea between friends. A way for a community to come together. Or simply something designed to make somebody's day a little brighter.

And we're fairly certain we haven't thought of all the reasons for one yet.

A Spark can begin with almost anything — a thought, an image, a few words, a joke, a prayer, an idea.

What makes it a Spark is what happens next.

Other people can add something of their own. Each addition becomes part of the artwork, changing it as it goes. One person adds a flower. Someone else adds a blessing. Someone else decides what this clearly needs is a snow leopard.

The Spark evolves.

Sometimes beautifully. Sometimes hilariously. Sometimes in a direction nobody saw coming.

And because everyone can add something, what emerges isn't quite anyone's creation. It's something made between people.

A little goodness can travel.

Send a Spark to someone who needs cheering up.
Gather prayers for a place or people going through a difficult moment.
Make one with your family.
Celebrate somebody.
Say thank you.
Make your friends laugh.
Bring a community around an idea.
Or add something to a Spark started by someone you've never met, simply because it caught you.

A Spark doesn't need to accomplish anything enormous.

A little more joy is enough. A little hope is enough. Making one person's day better is enough.

AI helps the artwork respond and evolve as people add to it. But what makes a Spark interesting isn't the technology. It's the people, what they choose to put into it, and the surprise of seeing where everyone takes it.

We're still discovering what Sparks can be used for.
